Business: Eyre Trading Whyalla

Local Whyalla business, Eyre Trading operating 5 days a week 8am to 5pm

Problem: Large electricity bill mainly due to large 3 phase airconditioner for heating and cooling.

Solution: CTI Solar designed a suitably sized solar system to provide enough electricity to run the airconditioner and other appliances such as fridges, computers and lights.

We installed a 25kw Solar System on the available roof space using a Fronius Symo Inverter and 300w Jinko Solar Panels.

On weekends when the business is closed and airconditioner turned off, the solar system exports most of its power back into the grid which is paid as credits. This offsets any power used at night, which is minimal.

Expected payback on this system is around 2 years
